I love bragging on horses that stand well so here

I love bragging on horses that stand well so here you go.

These horses are always in, clean and ready to go. As you can see from the pictures they certainly don't pull on me. (for those that don't know, there is no restraint here this is simply the horse resting their leg on my stand in the position I asked them to be)

The 2 most important factors that dictate a farrier's ability to do a good job are the horse's training and the environment.

If a horse is allowed to pull lean or jerk on a farrier (let alone bite or kick) then we are unable to do as nice of a job.

If the feet are muddy or sandy it destroys our tools, increasing our costs.

If the ground is uneven it is difficult to properly assess the horse.
